What could be easier than knitting a scarf? Even for a beginner, this very easy scarf project is done by knitting each stitch across the row and then repeating each subsequent row until your scarf is the desired length.
You don't have to remember any pattern because all you need to know is how to do one stitch (knit) ... that's it !!! Go ahead, try it, experiment with colors and textures from your favorite yarn stash.
For this project, I used a 6.5 mm needle and worsted weight yarn. The specific name is Yarn Bee First Love "Thrill" color transitioning yarn (purchased at Hobby Lobby-Texas).
This is the completed project.
Instructions:
Yarn: Worsted weight #4
(For this project, I used
Yarn Bee First Love “Thrill”)

project (use the recommended needle
given for your selected yarn)
Gauge: Not that important for this project
Cast on 18 sts. (For a wider scarf cast on an even # of
stitches greater than 18)
Row 1 Slip one as if to knit,
knit each stitch all the way across to last stitch, knit the last stitch
through the back loop.
Row 2 Slip one as if to knit,
then knit each stitch all the way across to last stitch, knit the last stitch
through the back loop.
Repeat Row 1 and 2 until you
have reached the desired length of the scarf.
Bind Off and weave in the
ends.
